JOTA Advanced Engineering
JOTA Advanced Engineering has recently completed the renovation of a new facility in Hastings. Covering 1,300m², the new site is four times larger than the original factory in Kent, which has now been fully repurposed to focus exclusively on the racing division.
To transform this new site into a true centre of excellence capable of providing high-level processing, it was essential it was fitted with the best equipment, machinery and furnishings available on the market. System Store Solutions were chosen to design and install a wide range of industrial storage solutions, in collaboration with Fami.
JOTA Advanced Engineering's new plant represents an innovative, efficient and functional production centre, where every detail has been designed to ensure a well-organised work environment capable of meeting the demands of the business. After a thorough analysis of the needs of each operational area, the best-performing furnishings were identified to optimise each work phase, making it faster, easier and more efficient.

It was important to have a layout which was open plan to encourage and improve team communication. The solution was to have long island workbenches, which are practical for day-to-day productivity and also provide an area for morning meetings. The layout is also future-proof for our growth plans with additional capacity if required.
In addition to the increased efficiency that the Fami storage gives us, the workshop environment is also more manageable as it has become second nature to keep things neat and tidy.”
Seeking Out The Experts
System Store worked in collaboration with the JOTA team with the evolving project to achieve the required finish. As the site needed to be operational during this time, System Store had to ensure the installation caused minimum disruption.
Working with Fami, System Store provided solutions to ensure everything has a place and everything is in its place. In the turning and milling departments, large 9m+ benches with power and air legs sit centrally and are finished with tough touch worktops making them practical and visually impressive. Completing the setup are fixed and mobile tool chests and cabinets with bushing holders, perfect for the orderly storage of CNC equipment and tools. There is additional storage available, allowing for expansion.
In the metrology, cleaning and packing areas, large workbenches complete with cabinets, tool chests and shelving provide wide and optimised space to handle every task with maximum functionality and efficiency.
