Freshlinc, a renowned logistics and distribution company specializing in perishable goods, recently moved to a state-of-the-art £60 million logistics hub in Peterborough. In order to maximize efficiency and ensure effective storage management, Freshlinc sought a trusted partner to design and install an optimized pallet racking system. Opting for a mix of wide aisle and very narrow aisle (VNA) with Pick and Drop locations across the warehouse the new solution truly maximises speed and efficiency for stock allocation and picking. Freshlinc also chose to implement a labelling system throughout the distribution centre, which has made sure that picking accuracy is maintained across the board and the margin for error is greatly reduced.
